Japanese chocolate maker Royce is opening a store in India's Palladium Mall in Mumbai this weekend. The fine chocolate maker is optimistic it can sell its product even as many Indians slash spending on luxury items. "We see the brand as an affordable luxury product and will develop a network of loyal premium chocolate consumers across the country," said Samir Gadhok, director at Burgundy Hospitality, the distributor of Royce products in India.
