The Edgewood City Schools in Trenton, Ohio, this fall will allow principals and assistant principals who hold a concealed carry permit to be armed on campus on a voluntary basis. The five-school district joins at least one other in the state that allows administrators to carry firearms. "We are a local control state and that is a local school board's decision. They know what is best for their local community," Ohio Department of Education spokesman John Charlton said.
