In addition to holding the cyberattack simulation Quantum Dawn 2, scheduled to take place today, SIFMA is planning another simulation for November, a pandemic exercise meant to help firms prepare for the possibility of large number of employees being unable to work due to widespread illness. "We're trying to be proactive. It's something we haven't tested as a sector for a good amount of time," said Karl Schimmeck, SIFMA's vice president of financial-services operations.
