Some use the CarryOn Free bag, which fits under the seats of Spirit Airlines' seats, while booking at Spirit's website or at the airport will save money compared with using third-party websites or the phone.
Many travelers say that LaGuardia airport in New York is one of the worst hubs on the globe. "It's filthy, crowded and there's no room for what must be a massive business clientele," said John Barth, a media executive. Other travelers cite cleanliness and long waits as a reason to loathe Los Angeles International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport.
