According to two studies by IBM, retailers and companies in consumer packaged goods that use Big Data outperform ones that do not. "Leading retailers and consumer packaged goods suppliers are increasingly looking to the consumer to inform better business strategies," said Jay Henderson of IBM Smarter Commerce. "By using data analytics, these top performers are more in tune with retail trends that turn market opportunity into market leadership."
