A study of Kansas' state employee wellness program found using health risk assessments may increase cancer screening rates. Among employees in the wellness program who had not complied with cancer screening recommendations, completion of an HRA prompted 52.4% to have breast cancer screening the following year, 41.3% to get tested for cervical cancer and 33.5% to get screened for colorectal cancer.
