Of the 31 classrooms or programs in a Minnesota school district that used iPads last year, 23 showed increased student engagement, 24 reported higher student motivation and 20 posted gains in student achievement, according to a recent report. None of the classrooms or programs reported declines in student engagement or achievement, and the remaining groups showed either no change or had teachers who did not attribute the change to iPads alone, the district's digital learning coordinator said.
