Tellabs has named a new chief financial officer, tapping Larry Rieger to replace Tom Minichiello, who resigned June 28 after being named acting CFO in May. That followed the departure of Andrew Szafran, who lasted 13 months in the post. Rieger, who Tellabs says has worked closely with the networking firm, was an executive at an accounting firm. Minichiello left Tellabs to take the CFO post at Westell.
