The Verizon Foundation has formed a partnership aimed at eventually providing telemedicine pediatric services to lower-income families in cities across the country. Under a joint venture with the Children's Health Fund and the University of Miami, the program will launch first in Florida. The mobile medical facility will link to Verizon's Long-Term Evolution network, and the carrier will also provide enterprise-grade routers and small antennas.
