A study that included 844 boys with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder showed that 34% of them had asthma and 35% had an allergic disorder. It is possible that some drugs used to treat asthma or allergies could raise ADHD risk, but further research should be done in order to explain the link of both conditions to ADHD, researchers reported in the Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
