Lack of sleep can lead to increased appetite for high-calorie foods, according to a study by researchers at the University of California in Berkeley. "These findings provide opportunities to adjust our environment and behavior in new ways to combat such health issues," said Stephanie Greer, one of the researchers. "Specifically, our study indicates that one choice people can make is to regularly obtain sufficient amounts of sleep."
