Facebook brand fans are 85% more likely to endorse that brand to others compared to only 60% of non-followers who'd do the same, according to a study from Syncapse. Facebook fans can be worth anywhere from $1,613 per supporter for a brand such as BMW to $70 for Coca-Cola, the study found. The likelihood of a Facebook fan to recommend a brand's products is one of the core metrics in calculating the fan's worth to a brand, writes Ryan Rasmussen, Zocalo Group's director of research and analytics.
