Business aviation is growing in Brazil, but the country's airports lack North American-style fixed-base operators. "Just like in Europe, where there’s not really an FBO, you either have a main terminal and a general aviation terminal or just one terminal," said Tim Bartholomew of Rockwell Collins Flight Services. The FBOs that do exist offer varying amenities, many are not allowed to sell fuel, and international passengers are required to use the main terminal for customs and immigration.
