The Federal Communications Commission could avoid "significant after-the-fact revisions" to its repacking plan if it would "engage more directly" with broadcasters and other stakeholders on its model, NAB officials told acting FCC Chairwoman Mignon Clyburn's staff in a meeting last week. "[T]he staff could save significant time and effort by engaging stakeholders at this juncture as opposed to waiting until the final proposal is complete," NAB said.
