California's golf industry is experiencing a rebound, according to a new report by the California Alliance for Golf, which indicated that the sale of equipment, rounds and real estate contributed about $6.3 billion to the state in 2011. "One of the values of having this information, for the public, for legislators, for business leaders, is that economically, the golf business has been misunderstood. People don't know how important the game is to the state,” says CAG President Tom Addis.
