A topping-out ceremony will be held Saturday for the 2,073-foot-tall Shanghai Tower in China, which will become the world's second tallest building when it opens in 2014. The 121-story skyscraper will house hotels along with cultural, office and retail space. The building's concrete core is wrapped with glass to act as a second skin and cut energy use. Lighting will be powered by 270 wind generators.
