I-4 Mobility Partners, a consortium led by Skanska USA, and one of four groups competing to win the $2 billion contract for Florida's Interstate 4 overhaul, held a workshop for subcontractors. The group aims to get subcontractors lined up for the project, which includes improvements along a 21-mile stretch of the highway. Work is expected to begin by early 2015 and will take five years to complete. I-4 Development Partners, 4wardPartners and Ultimate Mobility Partners have also qualified to bid on the project.
