Cox Communications has revamped its pay-TV service with a tailored TV guide that makes suggestions based on what they watch, a DVR with up to 1,000 hours of SD video storage and a new application. Dubbed "Contour," the service lets users create up to eight profiles for household members. "There's a demand for a service from customers that knows what they like," said Mark Greatrex, Cox's senior vice president and chief marketing and sales officer.
