Mobile users at Dick Smith Electronics stores will soon be able to scan QR codes on items for instant purchase with a new service powered by Sniip. The codes also will appear in Dick Smith catalogs and print advertising. "We wanted to create the convenient tool that reconnects retailers to consumers, changing the way people shop through the most commonly used item in today’s digital world, the mobile device," said Lisa Hardie, head of marketing at Sniip, Australia.
