Discovery is rolling out a new character-focused rebranding effort via a 30-second ad during its popular "Shark Week." Discovery's logo is now a "D" with a globe, with the latter adding elements of ice, fire or other natural themes, based on particular content. The network also has created a tagline, "Grab Life By the Globe," but it will not be deployed all the time.
