Data from Travel Leaders Corporate show that the average cost of business travel has risen to $965 in the U.S. during the second quarter, compared with $953 during the first quarter. In contrast, the cost of an international trip has dropped to an average of $2,398, from $2,534 during the previous quarter. International airfare during the quarter dropped to an average of $1,624, while the average cost of a domestic air ticket was up 6% against the previous year.
