Researchers from The Partnership at Drugfree.org surveyed almost 3,900 teens and more than 800 parents and found that 54% of Hispanic teens reported using illegal drugs compared to 45% and 43% of black and white teens, respectively. The report released Tuesday revealed that Hispanic teens were also more likely to be offered illicit drugs, such as Ecstasy, cocaine and heroin, at least once. More Hispanic parents in the survey believed that it is acceptable for teens to sometimes smoke pot.
