U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan campaigned for President Barack Obama's ConnectED program on Friday via a video address to an online summer camp for teens in which he equated broadband advancement in schools to the necessity of teaching science, technology, engineering and math. Through ConnectED, the administration wants to bring broadband services to 99% of the nation's schools and libraries. "We want to make sure all students get access to the latest digital technologies, explore new ideas through online content and resources," Duncan said.
