A total of $560 billion in revenue is slated for companies that secure contracting with California's high-speed rail project during its first and second stages, according to the Economic Empowerment Fund. "Companies interested in contracting with the project will be required to be certified to bid on any contracts," said EEF President Reynaldo Arellano. "For companies new to the certification process, it can appear to be an intimidating and stressful process for business owners. Individuals who have gone through the process can attest to the fact that it is worth the effort."
