A push to add element 115 to the periodic table has gotten a boost from new evidence discovered by Swedish researchers. "This was a very successful experiment and is one of the most important in the field in recent years," said lead researcher Dirk Rudolph, professor at the division of atomic physics at Lund University. The super-heavy element, first proposed by Russian scientists in 2004, must undergo verification by the governing body of chemistry and physics.
