Apple won a victory in court last week when a federal judge in California ruled the company was within its rights to insist all applications for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices be distributed exclusively through the App Store. The plaintiffs also argued Apple was forcing developers to increase the price of paid apps by taking 30% off the top, another argument the judge dismissed. U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers said the plaintiffs had no proof they had purchased apps, but is allowing them to refile their complaint.
