The technology recruiting industry needs to take a more holistic approach to grooming IT talent or risk alienating the very people it seeks to woo, some experts say. According to recruitment specialist Michael Ellison, headhunters need to abandon the aggressive, deal-driven mentality of yesterday and embrace a model that identifies candidates early in their careers, helps them get additional education and follows their progress long after they've been placed.
