Nine-year-old Cooper Ellis is an active reader and, earlier this year, he published a book about his mother's friend who died of complications with cancer. Ellis was inspired after an author visited his school, prompting Cleveland Court Elementary School principal Daniel Lunn to say he will be inviting more writers to the school with the hope that more students will be excited about becoming writers, too. "The plan is to create a young author's corner in our library and have our own student titles in our library," Lunn said.
