U.S. digital ad spending will grow 14.9% this year to $42.26 billion, according to an eMarketer forecast. The figure represents an upward revision of a June prediction, a change that eMarketer attributes to faster-than-anticipated mobile spending, which should rise 95% this year to $8.51 billion to comprise 5% of total media spending and 20% of the digital ad spending pie.
