De’Longhi SpA is reporting a gain of 7.2% for the second quarter of 2013 over 2012’s performance, figures that put the company’s performance for the first half of the year 4.1% above the same period last year. “We are pleased with the sales performance in the second quarter, which showed an improvement versus the first quarter, especially if we take into account the marked slowdown of European markets as well as of some of the core non-European countries," CEO Fabio de' Longhi said of the results.
