Technology company Giphy has created a product that allows GIFs on Facebook, which hasn't supported GIFs in years. The Gap is one of the first brands to use a Giphy GIF, highlighting its Tumblr promotion "What's Blue to You" and using the Facebook hashtag #Backtoblue. Giphy is currently the only provider of Facebook-approved GIF services.
