For every fight-related injury, teen girls' IQ scores dropped by an average of 3.02 points, compared with 1.62 points for teen boys, Florida State University researchers found. They noted that each year approximately 4% of high-school students in the U.S. incurred an injury from being involved in a fight. The study was published in the Journal of Adolescent Health.
