Starbucks has selected Google as its new in-store Wi-Fi partner, replacing AT&T, with plans calling for speeds that are up to 10 times faster and an overhaul of the Starbucks Digital Network entertainment platform. The network currently provides content from The Wall Street Journal, Apple's iTunes, ESPN and Starbucks' own entertainment group, among other media brands, when consumers first connect to the Wi-Fi in stores.
