With 35 million users and 4 billion check-ins in its data trove, Foursquare is still struggling to realize its potential, observers say. CEO Dennis Crowley has spent the past decade trying to build out and monetize his geo-social network, and some are starting to question his ability to deliver the goods on a timeline that's acceptable to his investors.
