The Justice Department plans more cases against financial institutions for their role in the financial collapse, Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday. "My message is, anybody who's inflicted damage on our financial markets should not be of the belief that they are out of the woods because of the passage of time," Holder said. One expert, however, said the five-year statute of limitations could stand in the way of successful prosecutions related to pre-collapse white-collar crimes.
