Holiday Inn is counting on a new marketing campaign to help it reconnect with travelers. The hotel chain has kicked off its "Change Your View" campaign with a TV ad that showcases the latest changes in its amenities, including updated food-and-beverage offerings, social-focused public spaces and modern fitness facilities. "It's changing the perception of what Holiday Inn is today vs. the Holiday Inn (travelers) experienced 10 to 15 years ago. It's also about attracting that younger generation," said Heather Balsley, senior vice president of the Americas for the Holiday Inn Brand Family.
