Facebook decides which posts users will see in their News Feeds based on algorithms that "listen" to user activity to show users more of what they already like, according to a spokesman. Posts that get a large number of shares or likes overall and particularly from friends are also more likely to show up in many News Feeds. For companies, this means creating posts that are the most likely to get people to comment and share to increase the likelihood your updates appear in their News Feeds more often, writes Jason Fell.
