Job candidates should look at the camera and be aware of body language when being interviewed over Skype, Alexandra Whittaker, a junior at Marquette University advises. They should dress as if they are going to an in-person interview, close down all other computer programs that could be distracting and remember to check in with the interviewer from time to time, she suggests. "Being aware of the interest level of your interviewer is crucial in a Skype interview since they may have interesting e-mails pop up that direct attention away from you," she writes.
