Empathy is an essential skill for students to learn as they head back to school this year, author and GlobalEd adviser Homa Tavangar writes in this blog post. Tavangar, noting that researchers have linked social-emotional learning with cognitive development and performance, offers ideas and online resources for teachers to create a more empathetic classroom environment.
