Danville Area Community College in Illinois has received a 51-ton wind-turbine nacelle ordered for its Business and Technology Division. The school will use the Nordic Wind Power nacelle to give hands-on training to students in a wind-energy program that has been using a simulator. "They're going to be able to actually work inside a nacelle. There's nothing like being inside, touching it, getting a feel for it," said Bruce Rape, the division's dean.
