Finding the right bottling company was the main obstacle for Jennifer Martin, whose idea was to launch an artisanal soft drink without risking too much money on the initial production run. Bottlers generally wanted a minimum run of 2 million bottles, but Martin wanted to keep it to about 30,000. Finally, Martin's search paid off with a California bottler who not only agreed to the smaller run but also offered pasteurizing to make sure the product would last longer.
