Bernard Arnault, the billionaire who is the chairman of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, bought a luxury hotel in St. Barths. In June, he added a Milanese cafe. The move follows the trend of luxury brands to offer client experiences. But it isn't the only hotel for Arnault: He's turning defunct department store La Samaritaine in Paris into a five-star hotel that should open by 2016.
