President Barack Obama, in separate meetings with Democrats in both houses of Congress, has rejected the notion that Federal Reserve Vice Chairwoman Janet Yellen and former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers are the only candidates to succeed Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke. Obama has mentioned former Fed Vice Chairman Donald Kohn as a candidate, says Sen. Richard Durbin, D-Ill. Bernanke's term expires Jan. 31.
