A rash of supermarket closures in New Hampshire likely will lead to a shake-up as out-of-state players make a bid to enter the market, Griffin Report of Food Marketing Senior Editor Mike Berger says. Stop & Shop Supermarket said this week that it will close all six stores in the state, while Shaw's announced last month that it would close the same number. The opening makes room for Market Basket and possibly Wegmans Food Markets, Berger says.
