Obama to appoint Toigo board member Carla Harris as chair of National Women's Business Council

Toigo board member Carla Harris has been selected by President Barack Obama to lead the National Women's Business Council, which establishes national programs in support of women-owned businesses and encourages more female entrepreneurs to launch and lead new ventures. Currently vice chairman of wealth management and senior client adviser at Morgan Stanley, Harris joined Toigo's board in 2010 and has been a vocal champion of Toigo Fellows and the Foundation's leadership programs, including our Groundbreakers Women's Summit and All A Board board diversity initiative.
