Out-of-home advertising has hit 13 straight quarters of growth, rising 5% year-over-year in Q2 to reach nearly $2.2 billion, according to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America. Digital has helped the growth by allowing advertisers to display more inventory, and mobile has given advertisers better interaction and engagement gauges. Large outdoor advertisers in the second quarter included Apple, Diageo, Netflix, Jack in the Box and Tiffany.
