Pennsylvania state Rep. Seth Grove, R-Dover Township, proposed a bill that would permit more than 6,000 certified pharmacists to administer shots to 7- to 17-year-olds. Currently, state law requires the supervision of a primary care doctor for pharmacists to administer immunizations in youths ages 17 and younger. The legislation would make vaccination more accessible and convenient, Grove said.
