A poll conducted by Monmouth University in New Jersey showed that while a majority of Americans said they had at least some concerns about privacy regarding the use of unmanned aerial systems, 83% of respondents supported using UAS for search-and-rescue missions. "We as an industry are committed to the safe and responsible integration of UAS into the national airspace, and it is exciting to see public support behind the uses of this technology," said Michael Toscano, president of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International.
