Despite a national push to curb violence and bullying in schools, a report released Sunday showed that incidents of such behavior actually have increased in the past two years, prompting calls for the government to take action and place more counselors in schools. The report revealed that 38,000 students were punished for violence or bullying in South Korean schools last year, which almost is twice the number reported in 2010.
