States that have the highest number of bachelor degree graduates also have higher wages and higher productivity, according to a new study from the Economic Analysis and Research Network at the Economic Policy Institute. The study showed that median wages were higher in states where more than 40% of the workforce had a college degree. "It becomes very clear, when you look at the higher-wage states, they have one thing in common: They have a well-educated work force," said Noah Berger, one of the study's lead authors.
